From website URL to a live AI assistant in just a few clicks.
You will choose an assistant type on the first screen, then complete the steps in order. A few steps only appear for certain types (for example, menu upload after you pick Restaurant). After setup, see Assistants for guides scoped to each type.
We start by learning about your business. The easiest way is to provide your website URL. Our AI scans your site to extract key details like:
- Business hours and location
- Services and products offered
- Pricing and special offers
- Common customer questions
Pro Tip: You can also provide your direct booking link (Calendly, Square, etc.) right here so your AI can start scheduling appointments for you immediately.
No website? You can manually type in your business details instead.
Once we have your business facts, our "Intelligence Engine" processes them into a custom Knowledge Base. This acts as your AI's brain. Instead of slow, traditional model training, we use advanced prompting to instantly ground the AI in your data. This ensures it responds with 100% accuracy using only the facts you provide.
Smart Booking Detection
During this stage, our AI scans for booking or scheduling links on your site—even custom or uncommon platforms—and can automatically prepare your assistant to share the right booking path with callers, with no extra configuration required in most cases.
Pick the personality that fits your brand. In this step, you will:
- Select a Voice: Choose from a range of natural, human-sounding voices.
- Name Your Assistant: Give it a name so it can introduce itself professionally.* For compliance, your assistant will always identify itself as an AI (e.g., "Hi, I'm Alex, your AI assistant from [Your Business Name]").
Automated SMS Actions
When a caller asks to book an appointment, your AI won't just give them a link—it will offer to text it directly to their phone while they are still on the line. This dramatically increases your conversion rate.
Create your secure account using your email. We use a passwordless login system—just enter your email and verify with the 6-digit code sent to your inbox. This protects your data and gives you access to the dashboard where you can see all your call transcripts. If you get interrupted during setup, your progress is saved here automatically.
Restaurant only: Menu upload
If you chose Restaurant, you will upload an official menu (PDF or images, up to 10 MB) after securing your account. That file grounds menu questions and ordering support. For how it affects callers and dashboard summaries, read the Restaurant Assistant guide.
1. Pick your plan and check out. That starts your trial and reserves the phone line your assistant uses behind the scenes. Your customers still call your normal business number—nothing changes for them yet.
2. Turn on forwarding from the dashboard. After checkout, you'll open the dashboard once your line is ready. There you confirm the number you want forwarded and follow the steps for your carrier. That step is what we mean by activation: linking your phone to your assistant.
Three ways to activate (same result)
The app shows instructions matched to your phone type and carrier. You only need one of these—whichever is easiest for you.
- Dial star codes from your business phone (for example
*72…#). We list the exact sequence for your carrier—enter it like a normal phone call. - Text the codes to yourself (mobile lines only). If you see a button to send an SMS, use it: you get a message you can open and dial from, so you don't have to copy numbers by hand.
- Use your carrier's website or app when we show a link for “online” or portal setup—common for some office / landline lines. Follow that flow instead of (or along with) star codes if that's what we display.
After forwarding is on, you'll do a quick test call so we can mark you live. You can pause forwarding anytime from the dashboard.
After payment, you'll see a Provisioning Screen while we secure your dedicated backend line and prepare your AI (this usually takes 30-60 seconds). Once ready, open your Dashboard and finish activation there—dial, SMS, or carrier link, whichever the app shows for your line. After that, your protection is officially "Live" and missed calls on your business number can reach your assistant.
